Boys enter KS1 in the September after their fifth birthday and, having thrived in the supportive atmosphere of the EYFS department, tend to be excited about the new opportunities that await them.

Here we can offer our boys the best of both worlds: the individual attention they require within a small group and familiar setting, together with all the teaching and sports resources available at Bickley Park.

As they progress through KS1 they’ll find more and more opportunities opening up to them: from the specialist teaching of French and Music to competitive Sport and IT in Year 2.

Although their classes continue to take place within the EYFS/KS1 site, they will benefit from the full range of facilities just down the road at our Prep school.

Class teachers ensure boys have a solid grounding in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science, while also supporting pupils’ achievement through individual pastoral care and our broad and varied curriculum.
