Throughout the school we use a mixture of NFER tests in English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning on a yearly basis to help us keep track of how well the boys are achieving.

In addition the Prep boys sit twice yearly exams in all the academic subjects taught. At the top of the school boys sit the Common Entrance/Scholarship examinations in preparation for their transfer to Senior School.

In recent years the boys have achieved to a very high standard with many gaining scholarship awards to some of the top Independent Senior Schools in the country.

On a more day to day basis, the boys are awarded three weekly marks for both effort and achievement in all subjects. These marks are sent home and help to form the basis for routine discussions with both parents and boys as to general progress.
