As winter has finally arrived and coats, hats and scarves are needed, can I please remind everyone that we do have an official school clothing list which we expect the boys to adhere to. A number of boys have been arriving in non regulation items this week which is unacceptable.
Please note there will be no After School Club on the last day of term, Thursday 15th December.
6SM are proud to announce that next Wednesday 14th December all boys are invited to take part in their Lego Competition.
Entry forms have been distributed to all boys and entries are welcome from all year groups (and staff!). Boys are invited to bring to school between 15-50 blocks to use to build a model of their choice within a one minute time limit. Blocks should be brought to school in a named bag or box and handed to the form teacher at the start of the day on Wednesday.
The winning entries from each round will proceed to a Grand Final where the time limit will increase to two minutes. The overall winner will win Lego, a prize which Mrs French has kindly offered to donate. There will be other smaller prizes also available on the day, donated by Max Finch 6SM. Entry to the competition costs £1 and all money raised will go to Action for Children, a charity 6SM have chosen to support following some research by Jackson Wen.
So what are you waiting for, start practising now! SM
This term, Year 7 have been creating their own ‘food murals’ to decorate the new dining room. Each boy produced his own design which was presented to Mr Ashley, Mrs Ashley and Lily last week. After careful deliberation, there are three winners from each class.
Congratulations to all of Year 7 for creating such interesting designs and presenting them so well, and special congratulations to the six winners:
Connor Goulds, Kota Masumoto, Sam Smith, Matteo Petrozzi, Charlie Tymon and Firdaus Arip.
