Community-minded pupils support fundraising initiatives

A fantastic £702.36 was raised via the own clothes day event last Friday which will go towards helping the Mexican children’s charity ‘Casa Alianza Mexico’ which was badly affected by the recent earthquakes. Well done to Jonathan in 8DW for taking the initiative to suggest the event and talk to the boys about what happened last month in Mexico.

Reception, Y1 and Y2 all took part in a sponsored Maths challenge in aid of the NSPCC. A representative from the charity, Rachel, was welcomed to school. She came in to thank the boys for all their hard work in raising a fantastic £2744.75. Thank you to all the boys for taking part and to the parents for finding and collecting all the sponsorship money. This money will go to help the NSPCC help vulnerable children all around the country.
