MUSIC

Music is a central part of school life at Bickley Park and is taught by specialist teachers throughout in a purpose designed Music suite. The department is led by the Director of Music who is supported by a large number of visiting staff.

We hold a number of concerts each year and, in addition to choirs and an orchestra, we have a number of performing musical ensembles. Musicals are also a regular feature of the Bickley Park calendar.

Boys are encouraged to play an instrument from an early age and to perform from the start. In this respect, they are given numerous opportunities, both in school and in the local community as well as having the chance to take part in international tours.
